The goal of Mainichi Communications ("the Company") is to build businesses that contribute to the creation of a healthy, abundant society by providing valuable information and cultural data.
The entire Company is dedicated to collecting, utilizing, and providing the information appropriate for the scale and contents of its business (employment information, staffing, educational publications, publishing, etc.), and at the same time maintaining the confidentiality and ensuring the accuracy of information , as well as protecting said information from potential risks.
As a Company, Mainichi Communications fully realizes the importance of protecting the large volume of private information we handle. Accordingly, we have implemented the following measures:
- 1.The Company has created a private information protection management system to protect private information. This system is appropriate to our circumstances and conforms to JIS Q 15001 standards. Strict observance of these standards and related rules is one of our highest priorities.
- 2.The collection, use and sharing of private information is performed in strict accordance to the Company's private information protection management system and related rules.
- 3.Private information is used only within the scope necessary for the accomplishment of the purposes specified, and shall not be used for any other purposes.
- 4.The Company has implemented rational organizational, technological, human, and physical safety management measures to prevent the illegal access to, loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, etc. of private information. The Company will quickly make corrections to/ improvements of implemented safety management measures as changes in social conditions emerge, or when current measures have been deemed insufficient.
- 5.The Company takes any and all complaints/ comments seriously. We investigate the details of such, and continually work to improve our private information protection standards.
- 6.The Company strictly complies with all laws, industry rules/ customs, and public policy related to the protection of private information.
- 7.The Company periodically reviews its personal information protection management system, related rules and personal information protection management structure, making continuous improvements as needed.

- Mainichi Communications ("the Company") acquires private information via corporate websites, telephone directories, social registers, government gazettes, and commercially marketed registers, etc. This private information is used to offer information about the Company's services. In the event that this private information is used to access an individual, the Company provides notice of the intended usage and the means of acquisition related to such information, securing the consent of the individual.
When private information is collected directly from an individual, the Company provides notice of the intended usage, securing the consent of the individual before such information is acquired.
